Image Resources Boonanarring Mineral Sands Project, WA (2015-2018)

Image Resources, in partnership with Murray Zircon, selected BatteryLimits to manage a Bankable Feasibility Study for development of the Boonanarring mineral sands project north of Perth, in Western Australia.

This involved dry mining and treatment of the Boonanarring mineral sands through a mining feed unit and wet concentrator plant relocated from Mindarie in South Australia.

BatteryLimits’ key role included due diligence on the Mindarie plant and infrastructure, engineering and preparing cost estimates to Bankable level for process modifications and equipment, dismantling, relocation, reassembly and commissioning of the plant.

Following successful completion of the study, BatteryLimits was awarded the EPCM contract.
