Moly Mines Spinifex Ridge Moly/Copper Project

BatteryLimits has managed the study to examine a 10 million tonnes per annum reduced capital case for Moly Mines for its Spinifex Ridge project in NW Western Australia.  The study involved Moly Mines addressing a number of cases for its large molybdenum/copper project by optimising pit shells in conjunction with use of existing process equipment already ordered for the project.
 

The study included all aspects of the project development including mining, plant design, capital and operating costs, permitting, marketing and financial return.
 

Previously BatteryLimits had undertaken management of the metallurgical testwork program and detailed process engineering for the 20 million tonnes per annum project from initial concept through PFS and DFS to detailed design.
