Dr Jim Kyle

Jim is a chemist/metallurgist with 30 years experience, including 20 years in the mining industry.

He has had experience in research, testwork, management and the development of new hydrometallurgical projects, especially lateritic nickel projects, and pressure hydrometallurgy of sulphide concentrates including arsenic stabilisation and control.

After commencing his career in academia, including Head of Department of Kalgoorlie School of Mines, Jim joined Ammtec as Senior Metallurgist and then Oretest as Laboratory Manager and then Director. He then spent two years in Canada as Director of Lakefield Research.

Jim completed his MBA in 1999, and since then has been involved in metallurgical project management, flowsheet development and risk management for new projects.
